COMPLETE COVERAGE

One place for everything that has to stay online.

See availability, performance, security, and expiration risks without stitching together five different tools.
UP

Uptime and performance

Watch HTTP status, response time, page content, JSON APIs, and optional real-visitor page speed.

TL

TLS and security

Catch certificate problems and missing security headers before customers do.

DN

DNS records and changes

Check DNS health and domain expiration. Add automatic DNS record history to see saved values and what changed.

DM

Email security

Review DMARC, SPF, MTA-STS, and TLS reporting configuration.

HB

Jobs and heartbeats

Know when backups, imports, or scheduled jobs stop checking in.

IN

Incidents and alerts

Turn failures into incidents and send outage and recovery notifications by email, Slack, secure webhooks, or text messages on eligible paid plans.

AUTOMATIC DNS HISTORY

Your hostnames. Their records. What changed.

With DNS history enabled, eligible public hostnames are tracked automatically as you add monitors. See saved DNS values and changes without using extra monitor slots.

Multiple monitors for the same hostname share one history. Removing its last monitor also removes that history—we warn you before you confirm.

Included with Business and Enterprise. Pro add-on: $10/month. This tracks supported DNS records for monitored hostnames, not every record in a DNS zone.
BULK IMPORT & EDITING

Bring your whole list. Stay in control.

Paste hostnames or URLs, or upload a CSV. Preview the monitors, review duplicates, and fix any errors before importing.

Select monitors across your list or within a filtered view to change frequency, pause or resume checks, and organize groups.

Available within every plan’s limits. Each monitor counts toward your account total, and bulk actions cannot exceed your plan’s check frequency or paid features.
Public checks and local-resource monitoring are available.

Installers are available for Windows 11 x64 and Ubuntu 24.04 x64. The outbound-only agent covers approved local services without exposing them to the internet. Private monitoring is available with Pro and above.

LOCAL & PRIVATE MONITORING

See what is happening inside your network, too.

A small 777pinger agent runs inside your authorized network. Check your router, internet connection, servers, and services from that location, without opening a new inbound firewall port. Use an agent in each separate network to see which office or site is affected.See how private monitoring works →
FW

Firewalls and gateways

Confirm the device is reachable and the services you expect are responding.

PT

Open ports

Check approved TCP ports and alert when an expected service stops answering.

SV

Servers and internal websites

Watch LAN-only applications, admin portals, file services, and other private endpoints.

NW

Network equipment

Track authorized switches, access points, NAS devices, and other critical local resources.

Local-resource monitoring: included with Pro and above on the supported platforms below. Keep the agent computer on. If it loses contact, a connection alert tells you the location cannot report; it does not by itself prove the router or internet is down.

Will it work on your network?

Install the agent on a computer inside your network—not on every device you monitor. Private monitoring is included with Pro and above.

TCP & IPv4 PING

Windows 11 x64

The signed installer package includes its Node.js runtime. Live-tested for TCP service checks, IPv4 ping and startup after reboot and manual sign-in.

Keep the computer awake and the user signed in. Pre-login, signed-out and sleep/wake operation are not qualified. Review the guide’s known maintenance error 1175 limitation before updating or repairing.

TCP SERVICE CHECKS

Ubuntu 24.04 x64

The installer includes its Node.js runtime and creates a systemd service. Live-tested for TCP service checks and automatic service startup after reboot.

Requires systemd 255+, Python 3.12+ and at least 500 MiB free. Ping is not supported. The archive is unsigned: verify its published SHA-256 checksum from the official HTTPS guide.

NETWORK REQUIREMENTS

A computer that stays on

Use an authorized computer with permission to install the agent and access to the devices or services you want to monitor. The two installers bundle Node.js; no separate Node.js installation is needed.

Allow outbound HTTPS (port 443) to app.777pinger.com. No new inbound internet port or port forwarding is required. Other Linux versions, macOS, ARM, WSL and containers are not covered by these installer acceptance tests.

Hardware, startup & optional discovery

Installer or manual setup: use the Windows or Ubuntu installer guide above for the tested setup path and platform-specific requirements. A manual Node.js script is also available for experienced operators; it needs Node.js 22 or later and operator-managed startup. Manual setup on another platform is not evidence that its installer or unattended behavior has been qualified.

Hardware: the Ubuntu installer enforces the free-space requirement above. We have not established measured minimum CPU or RAM requirements or certified every OS version and processor type. Usage depends on your monitor count, check frequency, and scan size; start with a small trial.

Keep it running: keep the computer awake and follow its platform guide for startup. Sleeping or shutting down pauses its checks. Windows startup requires manual sign-in; the Ubuntu systemd service starts after reboot. Updates are manual; optional updater pilots do not mean automatic updates are enabled for customers. A connection-loss alert means the agent cannot report—not necessarily that your internet is down.

Network access: permit only the selected TCP ports and, for Windows ping, ICMP to your approved targets. The computer must be able to resolve any private hostnames you use. Put an agent in each separate network that cannot be reached from another agent.

Optional local discovery: a separately enabled extension scans explicitly approved private IPv4 addresses and subnets of /24 or smaller. It can check TCP ports and look up hostnames; Windows can also supply reachable hardware addresses through Get-NetNeighbor. Hardware-address discovery is Windows-only. Public subnet scans, UDP and IPv6 discovery are not included.

Devices you monitor: routers, switches, NAS devices and servers do not need Node.js installed for these network checks. TCP confirms a port accepts a connection; it does not inspect page content or prove the whole application works.

HOW IT WORKS

From target to useful signal in three steps.

01

Choose what to watch

Select a plain-language check such as Website uptime, SSL certificate, DNS records, or Scheduled job.

02

Follow the guided setup

We show exactly what to enter, include an example, and provide sensible defaults you can keep.

Business and Enterprise include both the API and automatic DNS history; Pro offers each as a separate $10/month add-on. Extra regions cost more and are chosen from the available locations.

Text alerts are available. Included with Business and Enterprise, or a separate $10/month Pro add-on. Each recipient needs phone verification, permission and enabled alert preferences before delivery. Monthly workspace and service-wide safety limits apply; texts pause at a limit while email alerts continue. Long messages can use multiple allowance units. No automatic top-ups or overage purchases. Set up text alerts and recipient hours.

Simple prepaid billing: plans and add-ons are paid before use. Upgrades and added regions are prorated for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades and removed add-ons take effect at the next renewal.

Changes may take a few minutes to appear across monitoring locations. Adding regions applies to your public monitors; private checks run through their assigned agent.
